On-Site DTF Printingby Merch Troop

MOBILE UNIT rig en route to your venue

On-site DTF printing that rolls up, plugs in, and presses live.

Merch Troop trucks a complete direct-to-film station to your event — presses, transfers, blanks, and operators — and prints full-color, wash-durable garments while the crowd watches. No shipping, no waiting, no shop turnaround.

Setup, staffing, transfers, garment sourcing, and teardown arrive as one crew.

Why mobile DTF wins

A print shop that drives to the party.

Direct-to-film is the fastest way to put a full-color, photo-quality design on almost any fabric. We took the whole process — film, powder-cured transfers, and a calibrated heat press — and made it portable. The rig lands at your venue, and instead of ordering merch weeks out, your guests pick a design and wear it minutes later.

01

Full color, no color limits

DTF prints every gradient, photo, and sponsor logo at once. No screen counts, no setup fees per color — the same rig handles a one-color monogram or a full-bleed festival poster.

02

Any garment, any brand

Transfers bond to cotton, poly, and blends, so we press Bella+Canvas 3001 tees, Gildan hoodies, canvas totes, and even Richardson 112 cap panels off the same cart.

03

Live, right at the table

Guests watch the transfer land under the platen and walk away in seconds. That reveal moment is the reason a DTF rig out-draws a plain giveaway table.

04

Washes like it was ordered

Properly pressed DTF survives dozens of wash cycles without cracking. Guests keep and wear the piece, so your brand keeps showing up long after the event.

The route

Load-in to last press, mapped.

  1. MI 0

    Dispatch & art prep

We lock the date, size the rig to your guest count, and pre-build transfers from your logos and any live design menu before we ever leave the shop.

  2. MI 1

    Load-in & heat-up

Rolling cases clear the door, the station assembles in about 30 minutes, and platens come to temperature during your setup window.

  3. MI 2

    Live line

Guest picks garment and design, operator aligns the transfer, presses, cools, and hands it back. A single station keeps a steady line moving without a bottleneck.

  4. MI 3

    Teardown & recap

We break down clean, pack out, and send you a count of what was pressed so you know exactly how the activation performed.

Before you book

On-site DTF printing questions.

Can you really print DTF on site at my event?

Yes. On-site DTF printing is the core of what we do. Our crew rolls a full press station into your venue, warms the platens during load-in, and starts pressing full-color transfers onto garments the moment doors open. Nothing ships back to a shop; the finished shirt is handed to the guest at the table.

What do you need from the venue for a DTF rig?

A flat 10x10 footprint, a standard 20-amp circuit per press (we bring a quiet inverter or battery cart for load-ins without floor power), and a load-in path the rolling cases can clear. Tell us the room and we confirm the setup before the date.

How many shirts can one on-site rig press in an hour?

A single staffed station comfortably presses 40 to 70 garments an hour depending on transfer size and how many placements per piece. For high-traffic activations we run two or three presses in parallel so the line never stalls.
